Service Agreement

Version v2026-06-14 · Last updated: June 14, 2026

Transparency notice: This Service Agreement is provided for business transparency and is not legal advice. The specific terms of any engagement are governed by the accepted proposal and these published terms together. If you have specific legal questions, please consult a qualified attorney.

1. What this agreement covers

This Service Agreement explains how Local Growth Bureau delivers paid projects, what we need from clients, what is included, and what is out of scope. It applies whenever you accept a proposal, package, or recurring service from us.

2. Scope of work

The scope of work is defined in the proposal you accept. Deliverables, package, timeline, and price listed in the proposal are the source of truth for what we will produce.

Work or features not listed in the proposal are considered out of scope and may require a new proposal or change order before we begin them.

3. Proposals and packages

Proposals are valid for 14 days from the date sent unless we explicitly extend them. A proposal becomes active when you accept it on the proposal link, sign electronically, agree to our public Terms, Service Agreement, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, and (where applicable) pay the deposit listed in the proposal.

4. Project timeline

Timelines start once we have received: the deposit, completed onboarding, and the required materials and access listed in the onboarding form.

Timelines are good-faith estimates. They can move if materials, approvals, or access are delayed, or if scope changes are requested.

5. Client materials and access

The client is responsible for providing: business information, logos, brand assets, photos, copy, product details, domain access, hosting access, analytics access, ad account access, and any third-party credentials required for the work agreed to in the proposal.

If we cannot proceed because materials or access are missing, the project may be paused, and the timeline will shift accordingly.

6. Revisions

Each deliverable includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as listed in the proposal. Revisions outside the agreed scope or after final approval may require additional time or an additional fee.

Revision requests should be sent in writing to support@localgrowthbureau.com with clear notes about what should change.

7. Approvals

Once a deliverable has been approved in writing (email, project portal, or reply), it is considered final. Changes to approved work may be treated as new scope.

8. Delays

Delays caused by missing client materials, late feedback, missing approvals, change of direction, or third-party platform issues are not the responsibility of Local Growth Bureau and do not create a refund right for work already completed.

9. Launch

Launch means publishing the agreed deliverable (for example: making a website live, activating a campaign, enabling tracking). Launch only happens after final client approval. Post-launch issues caused by client changes outside our control are handled as new requests.

10. Ongoing support and retainers

Monthly support and retainer hours are reserved for the billing period and do not roll over to future months unless explicitly agreed. Retainers can be cancelled with reasonable written notice as listed in the proposal.

11. Payments

Payments are due as listed in the proposal. Deposits are typically required before project work begins. Work may pause if a payment is past due. See our Refund Policy for refund-related questions.

12. Cancellation

Clients may cancel a project at any time. Work already completed is billable. Future scheduled work is paused. We do not hold clients to services they no longer want.

13. No guarantee of specific results

Local Growth Bureau improves the quality of websites, lead capture, and marketing systems. We do not guarantee specific lead, sales, ranking, traffic, or revenue results. Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including market demand, pricing, offer, sales process, and competition.

14. Confidentiality

We treat client business information shared with us during a project as confidential. We may reference completed work in our portfolio in a general way (industry, type of project) without sharing private details.
